All Rockhill office properties are currently LEED® certified, in progress, or under evaluation for potential LEED® certification. As of January 2024, 85% of the office portfolio is LEED® Certified.

Rockhill has been recognized by GRESB for exceptional performance in environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance, achieving a 5-Star GRESB rating in 2023.

100% of our office portfolio is benchmarked in ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager, which compares our buildings’ energy performance to that of comparable buildings nationwide. As of January 2024, 81% of our office portfolio is ENERGY STAR® Certified.

ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year

In 2024, Rockhill earned an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award. The highest level of EPA recognition, this award distinguishes corporate energy management programs. Partners must perform at a superior level of energy management and meet specific criteria including demonstrating best practices across the organization and proving organization-wide energy savings.


Rockhill partners with urban beekeepers to maintain beehives and spread awareness about the benefits of urban beekeeping. Regular tenant workshops explore honey extraction, creating hand-crafted beeswax candles, installing new beehives, and other educational team building activities.

As of July 2023, the collective Rockhill bee colony count included over 4.5 million bees across the portfolio.

Volunteer Program

Rockhill aims to make a positive social impact through charitable giving and volunteering in our local communities. As part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the local community, our Volunteer Time Off (“VTO”) policy allows each Rockhill employee time off for volunteer activities with a qualifying organization.

The WELL Health-Safety Rating (“HSR”) provides a roadmap for driving resilience into operational policies, maintenance protocols, and emergency plans. The WELL HSR seal signifies to building occupants that evidence-based measures and best practices for safety have been adopted and third-party verified. In 2024, Rockhill achieved WELL HSR across all office properties in its portfolio.

Rockhill properties across the portfolio consistently achieve the prestigious BOMA 360 label which demonstrates that a building is outperforming the competition across all areas of operations and management. The BOMA 360 Performance Program sets the standard for operational best practices in the commercial real estate industry.

Tenant Engagement

Rockhill’s portfolio-wide community engagement initiatives are aimed at creating a welcoming, safe, and productive environment while uniting tenants, visitors, and employees in the common goal of social stewardship. In 2023, over 750 in-person social events, fitness classes, and charitable drives provided Rockhill employees and tenants the opportunity to connect with their communities.
